Wow... thanks for the quick replies!
I was busy all day today taking pictures with our local car club. Downloaded the pictures through my friends XP... I'll be un-installing all the software and cleaning up my ME system this week and will then try to install everything again.
I'm 100% certain that I followed the installation instructions to the letter... will post follow up in a few days.
I personally do not like XP and will only upgrade to it if I have to.
Thanks again for all the input,
Thoams

I purchased a Digital Rebel today and can not get the computer to
detect it in the USB port. I have installed drivers that came with the
Ver.6.0 CD as well as the drivers listed on the Canon site.
The camera & software work great on a friends computer running Windows
XP. So I'm wondering if anyone else is having the same issue and
possibly found a solution.
Thanks,
Thomas

Update....
As far as my ME system, I'm going to do a complete clean-up + fresh start of the system (I think I have too much junk (programs) that is interfearing with the canon drivers) to see if that cures my problem.
As for my friends XP system... I took 265 pics with a 256MB card today. When it came time to hook up the camera to the XP PC, Canon Zoombrowser said that there is no data on the CF card.(?)
I put the CF card in the printer and printed 4 page index of what's on the card.
Guess I'm just prone to bad luck.... in the end I'm sure it will work out.
Thanks again for all your help!
