One of my favorites from your portfolio.

This image is part of a book called- On The Farm. My wife helps care for two horses on a
hobby farm, a short drive into the country from our home. I go along with my camera and
record the farm throughout the seasons. This book was created as a present for my wife on
Valentine's Day.

Excellent picture, great design sense and restrained colors.

Absolutely my favorite picture of yours.
I'll go back to lurking now.

Linda Keagle, I like the sound of it. ;^)

Wow, it's just simple picture of a bridge, I can't believe the stuff rising to the top these days. Double 7s for this?! I'm picking on Yuri because he has a portfolio full of true 7s but come on, this is just an ordinary shot!

I think it would have worked, perhaps better without the solarizing effect. It's a darling capture though.

and peace be to you

oh, and by the way, the ratings are meaningless on this image, ignore them, people don't take the time to really view subtle images like this.
-
I love the image, very subtle but full of story qualities. I would have put the lettering in white down in the lower right though, it detracts from the image where it is. The overall framing and "photo by seadream" is a bit puzzling though.

I almost didn't see this in the small version, I bet many will miss it but that has nothing to do with the image, superb!

Yes, a nice combo, it informs me about the place and about the experience. To me, the weakest is the arc itself, I think you could have tightened up the framing.
-
Actually I like the original image best, the cropped version second and your version last! How strange, anyway, the uncropped version is about more than the lizard, I think that's why I like it. It goes from blended abstract to gecko, I like the transition, it tells me more about the world.

Well Jayme, I'm glad you don't take it as seriously as your commenters!

This image brings up an interesting point. It looks like this because it was shot with infrared film. Would it garner the same approval if it was created from a normal exposure in photoshop?
We photographers are caught in a limbo between technical advancements and being "purists".

Hmmm, doesn't make much sense to me, you can't open a window on a plane, or a window in an airport for that matter, and if you could you would be dressed not bare chested and then why would you say "Are we there yet?" when you were in the terminal of an airport? Most of this could be solved with a change of title of course.

I would like to see this combined with other images, I think there could be a great interplay to combine some of your abstracts into groups of three or four, or more. You could do an alphabet of sorts or a rainbow, someway to relate one image to another for more story/design qualities. This is lovely and graphic but I want it to do more.

Yes, that's better Roger. I know you don't have the extra money for a new scanner right now but I look forward to that day, your work deserves it.

This is a vintage WWII SNJ trainer aircraft, commonly know as a T-6. It was the last in a series of planes that pilots trained in before specializing in fighters, bombers, or transport duties. Pilot is Scott Romuld, the cameraship pilot is Tim Barzen. This was taken over South St.Paul Minnesota as the planes banked, in preparation for landing. You can see more of this plane by going here-
