I have heard that 1000 ws should be sufficient but would like some other opinions before laying out the cash. Thanks you all for your expertise. It turns out the rails upon which the rear standard moves were seized up and after reefing on them I was able to get the necessary extension.

Hi Brian. I have the toyo 4x5 AII. With maximum extension I measured 10 inches from film plane to front standard. It sounds like I should be getting 12 inches so perhaps something isn't working quite right.

My apologies for not being more specific. The lens in question is a tele and since posting I have taken a recessed lens board for my 65mm and inverted it which gives me about another inch and a bit of extension and although this allows me to focus on infinity it is not the best because the lensboard does not fit flush when reversed.

I recently purchased a fujinon 400mm f8 for my toyo 4x5 flatbed

which contrary to the information from dealer does not have enough

extension. Can anyone suggest a solution? (Sending it back would be

a big hassle). Thanks in advance.

Could someone tell me which telephotos are compatible with the toyo

4x5 flatbed field camera.

I do a lot of long time exposures (1 to 2 hours) with shutter on bulb

setting. Sometimes shutter fires too soon (20 to 30 min) after

depressing cable release. Any idea whats happening?

The shutter release mechanism has somehow come away from my Pentax

6x7 camera body. I tried to reattach it, but to no avail.

Suggestions anyone? Thanks in advance.

I would like to know if it is possible to use a graduated n.d filter

with the pentax 6x7 fisheye. A filter holder I'm sure would cause

vignetting but what about hand holding the filter up against the

lens? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
