Wonderfully vibrant colors. Couldn't be better.

What I like best is the angle. Even though the subject is fairly centered, the angle of the room gives it an unexpected edgy off-balance kind of feeling. The out of focus background, the lit lamp and the shadows all add to a very mysterious experience. It's a marvelous juxtaposition of elements. The classic inside frame line seems to echo the ankle straps. Wonderfully well done.

This is an amazing image. Wonderful depth and color. Thanks for the very interesting and detailed description. It gives the image a context and much more meaning.

This is wonderful. It really captures the feel of the moment. This is a difficult photo to take due to the lighting. Usually the child comes out all blurry, but this is perfect. This is nicely composed as well, with the faces on the left balancing rather than distracting the image.

Steve, this is another wonderful image. Exceptional sharpness and well composed. I love the point of view.

David, I find the strip on the bottom left a bit distracting and think the image would be better with the bottom cropped off. Otherwise I like how the image is composed. I really like the detail, sharpness and the contrast of the dark side of the boat against the lighter elements.

Maurizio, I think this is one of your best portraits. It has very good tonal range. I like the contrast between the sharpness of the instrument against the blur of the hand. A little less depth of field may have helped to blur the background more. It's hard to tell if the person is looking at the camera. Otherwise, it's very nicely composed.

Very nice. I really like the way the lines of the ground and lines of the bridge converge toward the person and animal. Nicely composed. Wonderful how the distinctness of the subject contrasts with the soft background.

Nice capture, good framing. I like the way the delicate shadows play on the wall.

Beautiful capture and framing. Wonderful depth of field, sharpness, highlight in the eye, and contrasting background.

This photo has good color and sharpness. I do find it a little unbalanced, but don't have any suggestions about how to make it better. The depth of field seems to indicate that this was done in macro mode rather than a telephoto. I find the ceiling lights a bit too detailed. It would be interesting to compare it to the same shot using a different lighting scheme.

This photo has good impact. There is certainly no doubt about what the subject is. The viewer reacts immediately to the facial expression. The photo has good tonal range and depth of field. The darker colors present a good contrast to the brighter face. The highlights in the eyes and lower lip is about the right amount in my opinion.

This is nice in that it shows the vantage point of the trombone player. I first wondered whether this was onboard a ship since the photo seems to be listing down to the right. I like the way that the flange of the instrument opens up into the dancers.

I'm not sure what the subject is here, and I think it maybe because of the angle of the shot and the depth of field. Most of the objects don't have complete focus. The contrast between the newpapar and the vegetables is nice. However, I find the actual print distracting. It leads the viewer to want to read it. Very nice color variation and richness.

Wow. Nicely captured. Wonderful skin tones, sharpness, depth of field and composition. You managed to get both the subject person, and the work in progress in focus. I think the presence of the person to the right actually adds additional information to the photo. Well done.

Overall, a nice composition. I personally would have cropped off the right edge to match the left edge so that the pillars are at the edges, rather than sky on the right edge. The photo seems to need a slight clockwise rotation as well. There's a little bit of curvature at the edges due to a wide angle lens, but it is quite acceptable. I like the way the eye is led to the other end, the light at the end of the tunnel as it were, and I like the centering.

Nice composition with three distinct areas. I would have preferred to see more texture in the sand to give the photo more depth. As it is, the only indication that the person is on a hill is his shadow and some sand detail in front of him. I would also have preferred so see more detail in the face considering that the sun should be shining on it. in fact the shadows seem to contradict each other.

Good composition and exposure. I would have liked a bit more depth of field so that the edges of the plant were sharp, and I think the details in the entire photo could be sharper.

Good stop action photo with good exposure and sharpness. I would have preferred that the bottom be cropped off so that the distance between the top of the trees to the top frame is about the same as the distance between the lowermost hoof and the bottom frame. It's unfortunate that the leftmost rider wasn't closer to the other riders, and there's the distraction of the stationary horse and rider.
