The grain is really just too distracting in this photo in my opinion. A great shot, but...

Very nice pose you captured. I think it is a shame that you didnt get the birds feet in the shot as well though... Were you using a fixed focal length lens? Anyway, it certainly is beautiful!

Too dark for my tastes. Well framed though.

Well lit. The background looks very nice, but it is still somewhat disconcerting for me to see flauna in a studio setting as opposed to nature. Just me though, it's a great shot.

Well framed. Has an end of the day feel to it. Perhaps a little bit more light on the foreground sign would have been nice, but irregardless a nice photograph.

Just the right amount of sky, would have preferred the exposure to be one stop darker however.

I think this photo would be a bit better if the glider wasn't quite so close to the edge of the frame. Otherwise great shot.

Was this done with a zoom lens? Nice effect.

The tiny patch of blue sky seems out of place, perhaps cropping that would when shooting would have been a good idea. The water looks great.

Nice photograph, but a significantly larger submission would have been nice... I have to squint to see this on my monitor.

The sky looks really unnatural in this photograph. Your Photoshop editing is very apparent. I have nothing against adjusting colors and whatnot in Photoshop, but it definitely takes away from the quality of the final image in this case.

This is a photograph of my father. I was trying to convey what I see in him: an

inquisitive adventurer and thinker in appreciation of the world around him.

 

The grain is intentional and the soft background is a result of fog. I am considering

making an enlargement of this for him as a Christmas present.

 

Please share your thought on it with me. Suggestions as to how I could improve it are

much appreciated.

Actually it is extremely foggy, not underexposed. The point of the picture? To capture a moment in time that I considered quite beautiful.
