I get the same on my 20d when its sunny! I'm planning to send it to canon

I have the same problem with my Hitachi 2G microdrive. Formatted many times but "Corrupted Data" happens once in a while. same microdrive works great on my F828. I have not noticed the problem with 512MB cf card yet.

article
http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/understanding-series/u-raw-files.shtml
explains raw format. You can answer on your own after reading it.

square frame will have a lesser field of view than a 2:3 frame, right?
Will we not miss ultra wide angles?
-
that depends on the value of US$ at that time.

With soft proofing one can select "intent" that looks best. How will they ensure that the printshop is using the same method, rendering engine and algorithm to make the print everytime?
I convert to costco profile and ask them to do no correction.

... so to get same DOF you open the aperture if possible (new aperture = old aperture/(1.5)^2). That of course increases the shutter speed. looks like it is not possible to get same photo(perspective, DOF and shutter speed) with cropped dslr.

try MR's article "Making the Transition from Film to Digital" at
"http://www.adobe.com/digitalimag/pdfs/transition_from_film.pdf"
It talks about 8 vs 16 bit editing.

Thanks to all.
Not enough money left to go for Arca-Tech!
Collar is the thing I need. Thank you Sheldon.

So i have to get both tripod collor and the Architechural Style plate. The plate alone cannot solve the problem, is it?

70-200mm f/4. tripod collar is optional (and costs too much).
I have not tried with any other lens. "safety catch" also can ensure that the lens/camera is aligned properly on the tripod head.
No one else misses it?

I tried to mount the camera vertical(portrait) on tripod (Bogen
486RC2) but it slips with long lens. Camera doesnt have a secondary
safety catch (like sony f828) to hold itself properly on tripod. What
am I doing wrong? How to avoid slipping? Should i tighten the plate's
(3157N) second screw directly onto the camera?
Thanks

You can read a lot on RAW here (WARNING: lot of math)
D-70 printing at 100%, what's wrong?
