And next time: Try to do something to avoid distorting the pictures when uploading them here: The trees may be very tall but I cannot believe that the two guys have such long faces as they appear to have on my monitor...

-

Just for the record: As far as I am informed, it was actually Imacon that bought Hasselblad - and then decided that Hasselblad was the better brand and therefore Hasselblad is the name of the company that is operating...

Sorry Alex. But every time one of your pictures shows up on my monitor, it is distorted. How do you manage to do that, one picture after the other?

Mads

Sorry, Alex but I really feel like asking this question after watching several photos of yours during a very long period: How do you manage to upload your pictures in such a way that they are always distorted? At least on my monitor...

Mads

Well said, Herve. Very well, in fact.
I suggest to that the (apparently) many on this list that are asking for full-frame sensors, meaning 24x36mm I suppose, that they go and buy a Canon 5D. I did - and I am happy to regain the wideangle features that I 'lost' when using my Zuiko 21, 24, 28 and 35 all in f:2 on my Olympus E-300. Those lenses were good, very good.
You have full frame, in the Olympus meaning, on every 4/3 camera. Olympus invented this concept and invited other manufacturers to join this platform. Hence it is useless to continue speculating about them giving up that format. And it is a waste of time posting messages here about these speculations every second week.

Last pic:
Maybe that Hex M35 is not that bad after all...
Sorry for the black line in the top of some of the pictures. It comes from the scan by the local photoshop and luckily it is not to be found on the negative itself. UC 35 01a-b are crops of the left and right side of the same negative.
Davidde, if you can't borrow Dante's copy of the UC lens you might be lucky to find one on a wellknown internet auction site. I did...

Davidde, I have both lenses (and I also have the Hexar AF with the quiet leaf shutter). Actually, I was searching high and low during many moons for the UC version after reading your brother Dante's positive review a long ago. I like the smaller UC more than the bigger M version although the bokeq is sligthly harsher. I have found a couple of recent shots with both lenses on my Hexar RF and M6 respectively. Now if I only could remember how to upload...

Jim,
Happy to read your note and to see your test pic. Do you have a pic in 'normal 3200 mode' of those pencils? I have not tried to make this 'hack' but I might if you post one more pic...

Andrew,
Just for the record: The two blades that you have spotted on Olympus XA has nothing to do with the aperture. They constitute the leaf shutter on this rather superb camera.

Simon, your photo clarified things for me: You have a shift (only) adapter for MF on 35mm. Judged from its 'mutter', the adapter seems to be manufactured by the same workshop that makes the shift and shift-tilt lenses for 35mm SLR cameras that are advertised by Arax, Ukraine.
I noticed you didn't place a bid for the Mir45mm that I provided a link for?
