The photo's greatest strength is the message it gives to all photographers. We are always hoping for the perfect shot in perfect light. We travel far, wait for hours on location, complain about the light, etc. Indeed, this image confirms my theory that perfect shots exist all around us. A hand opening a door, a piece of paper falling to the ground, the pouring of a pasta filled pot into a strainer. These shots are all around us but it takes an eye for opportunity to take them. For this reason I like this image. I have two daughters who take ballet and I know what I'm doing during their next lesson...
