yeah, I know, the pinky is cutoff, there is this annoying white spot lower left corner, butdespite all those flaws I still like her expression. Please click to see a larger, sharper view.
Thanks for viewing, jf

Robert, it's always good to see more of your work!
This is quite good, and the colour makes this one pop.
Now, would you mind sharing the light setup? I can see2 lights, one above and behind your beautifil model, andanother, I guess a softbox or beauty dish, camera left, right?
thank you for sharing, jf

But Tanya, you are a princess!
Just be carefull with all the 'princes' out there ;)
The aiku I had in my mind last year coming back from Bali.Truly a paradise on Earth. Glad you recognize its meaning.

"Love, shall we finish that dance at my place?" :)
The dog is a funny one, but your expression makes that photo!Nice boots too!

Great portrait, gritty, it tells a story, like she's waiting and waiting
and all those other people around, talking, laughting. Feels like she's been
left alone, expecting a call, something, anything. Love your others pictures
too, they have a unique style. I will come back for sure! Thanks for sharing, regards, jf

A very nicely done self-portrait. Just the right amount of fillto enhanced the countour of your face and to bring it forefront. As a photographer I'm sure you've learned that portraits are a verydifficult thing to achieve, to bring an emotion, a certain point of view,in time and space. Again, this is very nicely done.

Robert,
I didn't know you were also Rollei'ing :)
I really like that picture. Lighting is most excellentand compliment Ariana is a most exquisite way. Take thisas a grain of salt, my only quibble is with the slightchange of light tone on her right arm. Not sure how toput this in words though.
Is this really only one light source?
Thanks for sharing your work, I'm very fond of itand I'm always glad to see it.
Hope life is treating you well, jf

Indeed, in the book "The Tao of Photography" it's mentionned 10 "rules" that repeatedly
occur in photography. Rule #5: Hold the camera steady. Breaking the rule then is "Shoot while jumping up and down or spinning around" :)
I like this picture as it conveys a feeling of warmth and caring. Regards, jf

The style and rendition reminds me very much of Karen Rosenthal and her series 'Greek Nudes'. I like the quiet feeling of abandonment that this photo inspires. Thank you for sharing it. Regards, jf

Once more, everything falls in the right place.
A most enticing composition. Can say it again?
You have a way with the eyes. Simply out of the ordinary.

You have managed once more to get something quite
out of the ordinary. I was very much impress by
the other pictures of this girl in your portfolio
and this one is no exception. You have a way to capture the eyes...
thank you for sharing,

Robert,
I think this is great photo except maybe for the lighting
of her legs. As though they are entangled
in an impossible way. What do you use for
light?
The warm tone and composition are very good.
Keep up the good work,

I can only agree with Mark, it's hard to decide
which one of the two is better, there both so good!
Everything works here, the lighting, the glistening lips, the sparkling eyes...
I like very much the tone, I think it complements very well the model's expression and mood.
Fantastic work!

Very well done. A classical pose well executed.
Love the grain and tones.
welcome back,

One of your best.
A fantastic composition and concept.

She's looking good, that's for sure.
The lack of highlights in her left eye with
the strong shadow along her neck
create an unbalance imho. Good shot nonetheless.

Dramatic and nicely symmetric!

Why not remove the bird and the boat?
Makes me a little nostalgic.
