I took a shot from a virtually identical position a few years ago, the colours were somewhat different then. My shot was on fuji sensia. Interesting to see how much redder Rodislav's shot is, wonder if it has been 'enhanced' or if the colours do natually change.
After a number of visits to these geothermal areas in virtually every weather condition I would suggest that sun is best for good colours and that you really have to work hard for any decent shot in the more usual rainy weather, but it is possible. Its also rather tempting to stray off the path to get better compositions although this does risk falling throught the crust into the boiling water.
