Very tall and very old palm trees from the central park in Athens,

Greece. The imposing height called for this angle I believe, any

comments are welcome. Thank you all for viewing.

    Jack,

Thank you for you suggestions, point is well taken it does indeed make sense. Framing a photo in the field is not as easy as many great photographers make it seem.

    Regards.

I personally love the ocean and boats, this shot of the harbor on a

sunny summer day is something I'd love to develop and hang in my room

for day dreaming. Any advise or pointers on summer sea related photos

is appreciated. I am planning a trip to Greece and hoping for some

    nice photo ops.

    Kind regrds all.

... the most photographed monument in the world? At least the two photos are not identical ... but very close. Thanks for posting.

Btw, I really like your shot from the top of the tower, I was too chicken to stick my hand out that far. Regards.

Trying to manage this technique... I thought I had seen the technical

name somewhere and it now escapes me. Any feedback or direction for

    improvement is as always appreciated.

  1. Thank you all for the positive comments. It's a privilege to share my photos here with all these excellent samples from you guys.

Chris, yes it's getting colder here by the minute. The trees are changing and the only flowers left will be the ones in your macro collection, which is pretty impressive may I add.

    Regards.

I like it! This is exactly what I have in mind... and the juxtaposition of the background I think works very well... it almost brings this composition to a different level. Very interesting and creative...do you use any color theory guidelines while arranging colors or is all spontaneous? I'd love to make some of my shoots meet the Warhol look.

    Cheers.

  2. Erin,

Thanks for the positive feedback. It's appreciated, I have a bias I think over saturated colors that I need to overcome. It's no secret that when I see some bold colors on the photos here they really catch my eye.

I do agree with you though that one can go overboard. Thanks again.

  3. I just wanted to recreate the retro NYC era look of the rustic

Central park elements on a fall day. I think the light post is

    ruining the shot however.

Any other pointers are welcome. This is my second pic that i thought

might have something to offer, still very new to this.
