I don't know why, but this picture has a certain feel of "uniqueness" even though it seems pretty typical too... Could it be those colors and the face with clean, smooth shapes together. The hand holding the pipe seems somehow out-of-place, if it was in a better position I'd consider this picture next to perfect.
