What stops this from being cliche is A) that wonderful cool overtone, and B) the vast area devoted to sky. I like it! -

As ever, excellent photog technique. Her expression appears a bit canned to these eyes, however. -
Composition and model good. Don't like the soft focus effect on her face, and the entire portrait could stand for slightly stronger, more dramatic lighting. -
Composition and model are excellent. Would like to see the light on the left side of her face diffused a bit, and then expanded to cover most of her left half. -

This is one particular example that I don't think should adhere to the rule of thirds. Another member did a similar half-lit portrait, but I rather like your soft focus effect.

Great color. I'd like to see a slow exposure of the same thing, soften the water a bit. Either way, nice shot.
