I like it. I wish the land was more of a diffuse lighting but...you can't control the sun. Or can you?

It takes a lot to make a unique flower close-up but I think you've done it successfully. The cropping for me is absolutely perfect and makes this shot as great as it is.

Very cool! This is a very original and dynamic shot. I love the action and the contrast you captured. I have nothing to say that could improve it. Very good cropping as well.

Overall I like the picture. The subject is quite nice as I've never seen something quite like that. I'm not too sure about the black background though.

 

I think if the background were of a certain color it would help the mood and make it more interesting. Complementary to make it more dynamic, analogous for a more calm look.

I took this with my new home made light box and my Digital Rebel XTi

that arrived today. It is lit with only 1 desk lamp above it and has

a foil covered piece of cardboard to the right for better reflections.

I think it came out pretty well for a first attempt. Let me know

what you think. I like the very slight warm to cool gray gradient the

background shows. It's very hard to even see it. Please view it

large to see the sharpness :)

This was taken at my nephews 4th birthday party. It's a weird size

cuz I am using it for my background at 1920x1200 :)

I found out the easy way that peacocks come to you and eat bread just

like ducks do. A friendly and cooperative model he was. Tell me what

you think! :)

I would say this was a perfect capture but the exposure is very dark. I see you took it raw so I think it'd be a big plus to brighten it up a bit or more than a bit.

It took two days of watching and waiting to get this picture.

Although it's not what I was imagining when I thought a picture with

squirrels in it but I liked it after seeing it.

second quick pic but I liked how it came out :)

I really really like this pic. I kept coming back to it. Rather than saying his look is uncaring or plain I see it as a deep look of dedication and protection over your daughter. Her smile and his expression give this image a lot of contrast on human feelings and a lot of depth as well. Very well done I really like this one :) You have a beautiful family as well, she reminds of a friend of mine... :-D
