dark but beautiful and yet so simle... well, i guess "leica oblige"...
-
now tha's finally something new! looks almost like a picture of a surrealist painter - done by simple photographic (and material) means -that's what i consider art.
-
simple and beautiful, now i know why people like the lotus blossom so much. do you like the frame? i think both the yellow and the black line are too much... what kind of lighning did you use? natural, macro flash?
-
what can i say, you did everything right here...
-
gave you a rating anyway...
well, since i'm not considering myself a very competent critique of nude pictures, i might be wrong, but: I find her arm distracting. although, i believe she has a well proportioned body, it just looks to thin and makes the picture lose some of it's otherwise excellent aesthetics. maybe you should let the body cover the entire lower part of the pic, so the lines on the ground lead you to the body, the face and not away again. or stretch the arm more, so it forms one line with the body? i don't know...
otherwise a beautiful photo (but then again, what picture with a nice looking woman isn't attractive to a man's eye..). why are all those nudes b/w anyway?

does the composition and dof work for you? how do you feel about it?
please rate & comment.
-
another good idea. maybe less framing?
-
i understand this was a snapshot, but lowering your position might have made this one even more "live"
-
not the first of its kind, but well done. nice warm colors.

this was actually a "snapshot" that was taken during the setup for
another exposure. suddenly it was getting stormy and as i looked up
the mountain, i felt like taking this picture. i quite like the
outcome, considering it was -20°C (you cant imagine how much my hands
hurt... poor me).
Thanks for your ratings and critique.
-
not that i dislike negative critique, but if you give something as low as 2/3, please let me know why... thanks, paul.

we were actually going to visit our relatives for christmas but on the
way we were passing this lake, when my mom found out that she forgot
something. so i asked her to drop me off, while she was returning
home... well, that was what came out. thanks for your comments

thanks for your comment, daryl.
actually, there were only 4 candles, but the pattern of the plate made them look like more.
