The aftermath!

This is a great photo. I really like the depth and the framing, and the fact that the light on her face is a different colour then the rest.

Simple, yet it strikes me.

I also really like the composition, the feel, but I think the contrast is too low. I suspect that a histogram would show that the pixels are all bunched, and if this was mine I would adjust the levels to something like the other contributor did.

I like the tone that your post production has brought. It is a contrast between the warmth of your subject matter and the coolness of your presentation. I think your treatment of her hair and her backside with light works really well here. And it certainly doesn't hurt that your model is so attractive.

I think the photo is very effective. I want to see her face too, which I believe is the point. This is a nice piece of work.

I don't agree with Nancy here. For me the strong contrast between the top of the tomb stone and the sky makes this photo for me.

 

My only suggestion is that it might look stronger in B&W.

This is a great shot, you really bring together some strong elements. You also control a harsh light very well. Show us another one showing her feet to compare.

As long as it it good, right? Sorry that you took offence, but you asked for a comment and this is what I see in this photo. You didn't say "give me a comment if you think your work is better" or "give me a comment if you like my work". Send me an email if you want to see my work. I just don't think you can look at this photo and say WOW. I can tell you that it is lighting, the angle, the crop, etc, but in my humble opinion "snapshot" is the best way to sum it all up. But I can see that you don't want my comments, no problem, I won't leave any more. Have fun shooting.
