Quiet moment in an outside photo shoot. Photo of my nephew, Jackson,
and Sammi. Both have developmental disabilities and it was nice to
catch to moment.

Trying to get away from the 99% of photos take of El Morro (i.e. the
towers). Not to say I didn't take a picture of the towers, but hey
lets try another view.

Nice shot. Like the graphic imagery and color here. Only thing that threw my off was the paw on the left. But as a cat owner I know cats do not respond well to modeling directions. As an idea of what the paw-less image might have looked like I mirror imaged the right side of the photo, I had Photoshop open.

Yes it is the WTC. Thank you for the compliments. Was going through my pictures on my hard drive and came across a couple I took in summer of 2000

Thanks for the note, I was just making sure. Keep on shooting, you are great. Don't worry about the comments, this is not chaos it is discussion. It was the internet is famous for. To paraphrase public relations executives in regards to being an artist, it often times better to have people talking about you than to be not be talking about you at all.

Yes it was cropped. Unfortunatly from a lower resolution camera hence the small size.

Just noticed reading the thread that after a question I had whether Tamara used a self timer or a remote cord that she mentioned later that some people question whether she takes her own shots. In case that response was in regards to my question, let it be known that I did not intend in any way to question whether she takes her own shot. It was more a question of process and admiration as anyone who had either tried or studied self portraiture knows the added degree of difficulty involved in doing it well - framing and visualization being quite difficult when you are on the other side. Being that she does it well I just wanted some insight into her process. No slight or question intended.

Trying for a somewhat abstract view

I agree that the right side is a bit busy and that cropping it would lead to a more asthetically pleasing picture (as cropped above). I, however, felt almost obligated to show the scale/size of the animal. Hell I didn't know pandas came in red till I saw this one. lol. Without a sense of scale of the body the face could pass as a ferret with a dye job

Having seen your pictures and surmising that you are your own model in many of your pictures (A fine model at that I may add) my question is are you taking these pictures through a camera timer function or are you using a remote cord a la Cindy Sherman. Don't see much of you hands in many pictures so my guess that you have used a remote cord in some.

Part of a conceptual triptych series. The concept - "found" still
images in NYC. All within 300 feet of each other

Picture taken of a Red Panda in NYC sticking his tongue out at me.
In fact just a short time later he gave me the finger - or is it the
paw in this case?? Anyway..living in NYC some days does a number on
you.

Taken night of the blackout on the east coast. Drawn to this shot by
the rim/twilight lighting falling on the person by the pole

In terms of context I try not to be so literal. Too many triptychs I have seen are clearly one shot after the other in rapid succession ( in fact I have one myself in this folder lol ). That said as far as a temporal context these photos were all taken on the same day on the same street (57th Street). From a narrative or design context I did not put them together with any conscious theme in mind. Looking at them now I can see that there is an angle theme of sorts (left, center, right) as well as movement one (away, towards, and stationary).
