I saw this scene walking along the trail in Catskill Mountains and
was immediately drawn to it. Unlike most of Catskills which are
usually covered with dense vegitation this small notch was fairly
exposed, offering a nice view. As soon as I got the camera out and
attached the pollarizer the sun dissappeared behind the clouds. I
had to hang out there for a while longer waiting for the sun to come
back out. Well worth it I think. Thanks for looking.

I agree with the poster above but I think the image is overall too soft. Perhaps some 'unsharp mask'?

This landscape was made of three photos: two horizonatal images
stiched together plus the sky was filled-in in Photoshop with an
under-exposed version of the top image (from RAW). Otherwise I was
getting a blank white sky. What do you think?

What do you think? Thanks for your feedback.

Indeed, the symmetry and graphic simplicity of the landscape struck me while I was driving near Mono Lake. I was lucky that the island and the mountain in the background lined-up perfectly.

Your criticue is appreciated. Tech notes: a flashlight was used to
lighten up the foreground.
