thats one ugly bird...but a nice picture
-
this makes me want to give up shootin' birds...Awsome shot of a FANTASTIC woman..It's not to often I see something like this and say you could crop it just below the shoulders and still leave me with a big grin on my face....I am inspired!
-
that's what i'm takin about!!....you need to come to illinois in the winter.....7/7
-
very nice ...I'm thinkin' the dog didn't really see the point of lettin' this one fly off.
-
YES....the heat index in illinois was 105 today.....so all i could
think about was standing by the river freezing my you know what off
in 90 days when my little friends come back
-
mississippi gave me a little christmas present this year
-
shot's great....welds stink
-
took about half a roll from what i think is the same over look. None of them this nice.

great capture ..but i don't see the sadness..i see a form of prosperity in a culture differant than white anglo-saxon. The child doesn't have the protruding abdomin of malnorishment nor the look of dispare in the eyes of some from more americanised places. Maybe just some mistrust for what you may be thinking about his/her ducks. I think maybe if there was to much adversity related to this seen the food would not be trusted to a childs care. This is a great image from a place i would love to see!!

nice work getting a deer this solid. My daughter could walk right up to a guy like this, me..the thing would run the second i got out the camera. nice pic.
-
just great. to bad you don't live on the mississippi and I lived in norway and got to look at feords instead of a muddy bank. Beautifull shot.
-
very nice. keep your eyes open for a bumper crop of monarcks comin' your way.they were the thickest i've ever seen in illinois 2nd week in sept. again nice capture, the colors work for me.

i like this too... it's real...it's life...makes me think of a teenager asking for money on a friday night right after giving you a note from the teacher about acting up in school. i think maybe it's an adolesant still begging for food...good timing on the trigger (no offense to PETA) on this one

i love this....is it balls bouncing? is it three guy's from the planet sguarehead who all got drunk last night? is it what i would get if i asked one of my kids to draw 2 squares with 3 identical balls in each square.....this is freakin' art and i don't even know what art is.....nice job..from this moment on you are in charge of sending me ideas for abstract images

SORRY IN ADVANCE to anybody who reads this that doesn't deserve it...this posting isn't about the photo,it sucks,i know it( if you had paid attention to the posting text you would have known i know it),it's about a man with an axe in the wilderness of montana hand carving 10"x10" dove tails to assemble his cabin even though winter is on the way and his family will freeze to death if he doesn't get it done before snow falls, but he still does what it takes to make it a work of art that has already stood proudly for nearly a hundred years and will stand for a hundred more unless raped for the land it stands on. I didn't put it up to be stroked by strangers about my art.I put it up because the CABIN deserved to be seen by more people than the few odd locals that drive this out of the way 2 lane in bumfart montana(as was clearly stated in the tech.entry.)so in the future if you don't want an honest opinion about some piece of fluf......then don't ask for it.........please also notice that any time i say anything other than "very good".."great"..."f-in wonderfull colors" i also disclaim it with the fact that i am not freakin ansil adams and i could be wrong and please don't take this as a complaint on your art. i mearly say what i see to people who ..!..ASK..!.. specificaly for comment. If you ask for comment I assume it's because you have some question in your own mind that you want help with or other people's opinion on.if you just want stroked, show it too your mom .....i'm sure she thinks it lovely. Once again...sorry to everyone who just does this stuff because they like it, to those people i also say please feel free to comment on anything i post or to explain to me how i was wrong about what i said somewhere else, i welcome the exchange...and to the pompas buzz phrase spewing jerks that come to slam a few odd snap shots takin' by an aknowledged poor shooter....I think your flower was just lovely.
-
to john: your right the grey scale adds some drama to the shot thanks for the help....to T.C. please refer to cabin picture.
-
did i see this one cropped down to the arch? i like this version better.
-
nice colors....don't know anything about macro but could you get away with a super fast film to get you the shutter speed to stop it down?who's flower is it? maybe next time just bring some scissors and head back inside....i won't tell, us illini got to stick together.
-
this a nice shot.where do you guys find these bugs? is the white balance right? seems kinda yellow.i don't know digital but if it was film i'd maybe go for some flash to help the color. i love your fireworks and your water shot.
-
i think you had to sacrifice to much color to get the window ray. low sun on same side of mountain as lense might have been richer colors and window would be still/already black from night...maybe, i wasn't there. still a nice image though

peter is right...as the pic was loading i thought maybe it was a shot of wall paper...the colors make me think it could have lived on it's own with out mr. adobe. if it wasn't strong enough on it's own... feed it... don't operate on it.the colors are good but we don't know if it was nature or nuture now.
-
maybe less lake and more sky with a polorizer to help colors. ilooked at a few of your other shots, you're alot better than me what do you miss in the shot?
-
i have shoot few pictures this nice but the bird could use more light,i'm sure this would be hard because the shadows on ground help the composition.maybe a reflector or flash from a real low angle.a bright white bird would give the shot more punch.but still a nice pic
