The mesh on the cage where this bird was was very fine, but I
believe I managed to get a good close up without burring at the
edges - what do you think?
-
The middle duck is saying "I told you we lost the road back there - now look where we are"...
Nice idea.

looks a bit wonky that...

Nice "adult" gesture on an infant.

I desperately wanted to capture these trees, quite a distance away,
as they looked like large camels or dinosaurs, migrating across the
hill, with only the "legs" separating them from the hillside.
All comments welcome.

Continuing to experiment with aperture settings to get that soft
feel around the subject. Here, I am also trying to contrast the
delicate petal and dew drops with the rougher foliage in the fore /
background.
Please can you comment on composition, and any other tips for close
up nature scenes. Thanks.

Trying to capture the second the trigger is pulled took many many
tries, and none were as satisfying as this one. All comments
appreciated.

You can feel the tension - nicely done!

Mmm - I can smell the grass. Lovely!

Evocative!

For a moment, it looks like snowflakes that have flattened out, and then instanly frozen. Very good!

I want to print this large, and put it on my bathroom wall (a light
blue, like the photo.net banner, top right). Suggestions? Crops?
Also, comments on what best to do with close-up shots.
First attempt at a sunflower - wanted to get that "about to seed"
feel. All comments gratefully received..

Taken on a lovely sunny day in York.

An attempt to capture the lakeside at Duridge bay country park. All
comments welcome.

Very cool - I especialy like the look of complete abandon and joy a minute before the 4:15 zooms by.
