Very nice combination of textures, Nicholas. There is a lot to look at, but it all blends together nicely.
I like your portfolio, your view is original and interesting!

A stroll through Central Park during the "Gates" exhibit. Is it
better with the couple as a silhouette, or should they be better lit?
Any other criticism will be appreciated.
Thanks, and regards.

I would appreciate any comments on what you like or don't like about
this photo... and how I could have made it better.
Thanks in advance, and best regards.

Hi Eric,
Very nice photo. The view must have been superb! ;)
I like the stitched result. Can you share some details of how it was done (software, etc)?
Thanks, and regards.
-
Very original! I like it. The other tourists must have been wondering what the heck was going on!
If I may ask a technical question: how was the stitching done?

I think your "Landscapes" photographs are your best work (IMHO). This one is probably the one I like the best. It's very original, although having the opportunity to take a shot from this location must help a lot! ;) But I do like the vivid colours, and the composition. Very appealing.
Your military photos are somewhat less aesthetic, but they are very powerful. They give a strong feeling of being right there.

Thanks FF, I also thought the border didn't work. How do you like this one:re-framed.
Thanks again.

I cropped, and slightly de-saturated the whitish parts of the
building, to make it almost a B&W. Left the little ball at the top
its original colour.
Did I go too far?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

Very strong, good colours.
-
Interesting picture. Maybe did not need re-touching, as the red broom would probably stand out without it.
-
Very original. However, nothing specific draws my attention. Maybe the whitish band is too prominent... but I still like it!
-
Too bad the mountains are so light... but very nice colours everywhere else.

Nice mood. Feels like '1984' meets van Gogh... The apprent pollution and the birds flying around makes for an interesting scene. Maybe I would have placed the factory off to the right a bit.

The city is Arusha, and that is Mount Meru in the background: the much-lesser-known little brother to Kilimanjaro (but still a good climb). Kili is about 50km East, closer to Moshi.

Thanks for the comment.
We didn't have to get up so early: if I remember right, we were on the road by 7 or so. This picture might have been around 8. There was a lot more activity than a few hours later...

Very nice lighting. I personally like the wide angle perspective, and this is a very nice example.
Maybe the filtering is a little too strong...

I really like this composition. I would have preferred it if all the birds were in focus, especially the ones on the far right. All in all, a very nice picture.
-
I'd appreciate any comments / critiques. Thanks!

I really like the colours in this picture. Caught my eye right away!

Very unusual. Nice effect on the water and on the reflections on the buildings. The combination of black and gold is very striking.
-
Very nice. I thing I'd prefer better lighting of the middle portion, it would bring out the yellow colours. Still a very dramatic picture
Were the water drops added?

The contrast between the sharpness of the butterflies and the "blurriness" of the background is quite striking. Even the antennae and legs are well defined. I like this very much!

I like the perspective. Feels like I'm falling to the rocks & rapids below.

What aperture/shutter speed did you use?
