1.
All sounds reasonable to me. I guess maybe it was wrong of me to assume that viewers would know to view larger. I can't help but agree with Hal though, and find it somewhat rude to ask. I figure if someone is nice enough to look, at even a thumbnail, they don't need instruction to view the photo further.

Ant is a great cat. He came from a barn and was named "piss ant" luckily he moved and had his name shortened. He is most tolerent of the stupidest posing. His cute act is used to trick us into thinking his bossy brother scratches the furniture and other undesirable cat antics. He is a great campanion.

  3. Yes it would be a benefit to you. Don't sacrifice your photos for a $30 part. I would imagine that you won't make it to the Galapagos very often. It will help with flare and even offer some protection to your lens in case you drop it or slam it against a rock.
  4. Sharpen your pictures in photoshop. The 10D is a much better camera, but don't expect miracle your first time out. learn to use the camera. Sorry if i sound like a jerk, but I wish someone would have told me these things. 99.9% chance there is no focus issue!
  5. Actually you will probably see a marked increase, but it's not worth arguing over again... Anyways I switched and the images are alot more refined than film, ie less grain=cleaner images, easier post process etc. Take three pictures and stitch them if you want big. The only obstacle is batteries for long hiking trips. Go for it! Buy a 1DS!, or 1D, even 10D,*st, D100, whatever! You'll be pleased.
