My boss told me if I were to choose between D1 or D100, go for the 100 due to that of 2.## compared to a D100 with 6.1mp. for what I heard, in journalism, you probably will need a D1...however, please be aware of the CCD cleanup...the price for maintenance of this is $$$$$!!! If you are buying a "used", be forewarned of undisclosed ailments such as these with the seller. Thus, I bought my D100 at Samy's...which the shipping was super fast!!! and the bugger was brand new!!!

I just recently purchased a 100 and battery pack alongside. I dont
really want to use AAs...rather, the ENELs and surfed the web and I
am confused...the only difference between the generic and OEM types,
the 1300mah and 1400mah...Nikons batts is listed as 1400 and if I
should install 2 generic 1300 in my drive, will I have a weaker
system or blow my unit and camera....If I should be cautious, I
rather stick to the OEM types...need imput from your experiences
guys! Thanks!!!

can anyone assist here...I need to know and just found out thru
research, that the newer model Sigma 70-200 has a FIXED 2.8 aperture
opening...NOT a variable 2.8-22/32 aperture. I need to know if thru
settings on the camera itself, can I set minimum aperture as well as
max? And if you had experiences with these, please email me with
your responses...thank you!
