Nice bright scene, stunning colours. Good find. Throwing the background out of focus was a good decision. It seems you brightened the eyes, to a level that they loose contrast, and show image noise. the contrast could easily be restored by pushing the black point up. Noise is harder to prevent.

Good moment, good angle. Nice capture of the steam. It may have been better to place the girl to the left to leave more space for her cart, which tell sus more about the story than the bit of background on the left.

Thank you Marjolein.
This photo is part of a series where I take models in nice modern Malawian clothes (design Cathy Kamthunzi) into a village or township setting. It appeared that a certain level of disociation from the setting was necesary for the images to work the way I have in mind. Thus the (dancing) pose.
This photo is very much about colour for me, with the earth tints of the dress matching teh dirt tints of the bricks and the mud wall. And the series is in colour, also to show the clothes off to their best.

Beautiful light and expression, interesting graphic shapes in the background. I am not sure about the blue line extending straight up from her head.

great image. Great image. Great pose, great light, with beautiful shadow lines, that complement the pose. Great composition. This is so perfect it is hard to imagine it is a found image. Well, with a lot of skill, and hard work I guess!

The lighting seems OK to me. there are a few little things here: the face is only seen in the mirror, and there it is nicely lit. But you focussed on the back of the head, for no good reason I can see. The way the head connects with the painting on the left is not perfect. For the me real head and mirror image are a bit to far apart, which can be helped by either moving the model slightly, or moving the camera to the left a little.

Nice model, and pose. The confident expression suits the model, being a bit older than the teenage models usually used for htis type of subject, making her quite sexy. the light is a bit strange. It seems you could not decide between low key mysterious with large shdows in her face, and standard nude lighting that shows all curves at their nicest. The shadow on her elbow (camera) right does not seem to serve a function. The irght breast is caught in pincer lighting. Both lights are placed quite low. I would place the key light higheer and a little more frontal to make the shadow in the face smaller, and give more natural modeling all over.

BEautiful image. Many rice farming images emphsize the beauty of the fields, and give a romantic view. Here I sense the hard work in heavy brown clay, on a drab overcast day. (which may be welcome, cause the sun could be blistering hot!) Great colour scheme with the blue clothes standing out, great shapes and great poses.

Innocence? I see something quite different. Maybe the boy on the left. But the boy in the middle and on the right look quite knowing to me, and not in an innocent way. Your hard lighting strongly enhances this. The shadows in the eyes of the middle boy, and lots of shaows in the face on the right look very gloomy to me. In that sense I find this a very succesful image. For that purpose I would darken the pants on the left front quite a bit, and the whole image is one of strong mood. But your title tells us you have something different in mind (unless it is satyrical)

Beautiful photograph. The light is enchanting, great close up. Just enough surroundings to give context. The eye contact makes it personal. Great job.

Some comments would be very welcome, to get the creativity and art
thinking going.

Beautiful mood, well enhanced by the use of sepia. Good expression. The tight crop focusses our attention on the eyes.

For me this is an invitation to caompare the models: dark hair-blond hair, smile-serious, both face and one hand, both mouth slightly open. Interesting colour rendition.

Nice job. Interesting black space on the right, good use of backlighting to bring out the translucency of the flowers. Good angle. Red filter? Some reference to Tina Modotti?
I'm searching you

Good mood! Mysterious, maybe even creepy. I am not sure desaturating teh skin was necsary for your image. Now it makes me think about technicalities, in stead of enjoying the strong and wonderful emotion you evoke.
