Hi Michael - thanks, I've enjoyed your Montreal pix, especially the Point Claire (?) windmill pics. The above pic was taken from the pier at teh entrance of the Lachine canal (which makes it Lachine not Dorval). I think that's Dorval Island in the distance?

Yet another photo.net tile roof photo. Any comments? (Aside from the
fact that this subject as been photographed to death!). I am tempted
to add some cheesy photoshop blur to reduce DOF.

This is a great portrait. The only problem is the sleeve - its distracting because its too big, too bright, and has too much detail.
I would suggest cropping a bit off the bottom of the picture, darkening the highlights of the sleeve (especially at the elbow), and blurring her arm and shirt (i.e. decreasing depth of field)
