Hi Karen,

I hope you don't mind my critique on this one. The setting is lovely but the water seems to have too many hot spots (guess it was overexposed) and I would have cropped the top off where the white bald sky is showing.

Taken in a studio with theatrical lighting. Minor level adjustments,

other than that no PS manipulation.

The background wasn't very appealing so I used impressionist brushes

to mute it to give it the look of an old wall. Also used diffuse

glow and added grain.

I loved the pastel colors of this lily and intentionally made it

slightly out of focus. Slightly adjusted the levels in Photoshop.

Sorry the info I entered re being scanned and taken using the 105mm lens is incorrect for this picture. This was taken with my Sony CD300.

Any comments are welcome. Personally I love the colors. Not sure

what the insect is but thought it was nice contrast on the flower.

Second day using my new Nikon 105 micro lens. I think I'm really

going to like it. I scanned this in from a slide.
