    Kowa lens latch release question

    I have a Kowa 6 body with a problem- the latch release that allows one to put on and remove a lens is missing or broken. If you are looking straight on at the camera it is a latch to the right of the lens mount on the side, right below the grip attachment mount. I am unable to put on a lens without it. Does anybody have any experience with this and if so,is this repairable?

    Does anyone know where I can go to check the performance of Kowa 6 lenses? I understand they were an optics company before they were a camera company. I have an 85mm and a 55mm lens , both in heavy chrome mounts. I was just curious about their relative performance and optic abilities in comparison to Hasselblad,Rollie and Bronica. Thanks in advance.
