We went from Oct 31 to Nov 7 '99 to Inverness and Edinburgh. It was lovely, a bit chilly at night for a Texan, but not bad. The light was _beautiful_. The leaves were turning, the heather had already turned a rusty/maroon and the golden hour was practically most of the day. It never got to below freezing while we were there. Reminds me I've got to scan a couple of my shots and add them to my photonet gallery...
