This is a picture of our 14 month old after surgery. I was trying
for something emotional. I didn't know if others felt the same way.
I'm still exploring my photographic side.
I desaturated, straightened up the bars and adjusted the contrast.

Ok, I'm not a pro, but come on. There was some manipulation(sp?) to this images. Just look around the claws and some of the feathers. There is a halo around it. -
It's a bust at the Getty in Santa Monica, Ca. You can kind of see the reflection in the background from the glass case. I should have gotten some more information on the bust since I did fall in love with this woman when I first saw it.
Very real looking.

As a beginner, I wouldn't take anything away from these pictures. From what I understand, Al Kaplan is a long time photographer. These pictures are taken for pure pleasure of the photographer. You'll notice his right hand is always out of the picture (holding the camera).
As you see, these aren't submitted for critiques.
