I like the soft contrast with the deep red coloration of scarf...the dark tones add to the somber mood of the pic. Nice composition. A bit scarry. P.s. If the scarf isn't red it's because I have a red/green color blind deficiency. I mention this because I notice it was taken during the St. Patricks day parade.

Photoshop is part of my life. I use it in whatever manner to bring out the color that I would like it to appear rather than trying to rely on being "true" to nature. I did the same in the color darkroom with dodging and burning and masking and whatever. I think PS is just another tool, like the camera, or film, or filters, which can be used to accentuate aspects of a scene, and is almost an essential ingredient in modern digital photography. The question always arises, as to how much is too much. Therein lies the art of photography. My final objective is to produce an attractive image which is pleasant to look at. Sometimes I get it together...other times...oh well, no need to bring up that subject...

Thanks Ken...That is what I thought this pic was all about. The admixture of the bright clothing clones right into the picture on the building...I think it is cool...Fun Foto...

I use PS to accentuate colors in pics with curves and basic filters...to bring out the colors in the original capture. Nothing else added ...This is my idea of unmanipulated as stated in the rule section. I may be totally screwed up in this regard as I am in many other areas...but It's a basic snap with the colors snapped...Thanks for your comments...
