My wife and I spent the afternoon snapping photos at the Norfolk

Botanical Gardens. We found ourselves holding on to our subjects to

keep the wind from blowing them right out of frame!

 

I like the way this photo captures the fact that regardless of what

we're shooting, my wife and mainly just enjoy being there doing

something together.

Thanks! The photo was taken from the Blueridge Parkway in the Shenandoah Nat'l Park in Virginia.

 

I adjusted the levels and even tried my hand at some unsharp mask. I'd appreciate any comment on whether or not it's an improvement.

A tighter crop of an earlier photo

An old photo I re-processed using the highlights and shadows feature

of PS CS.

Fountain at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. Hope you enjoy!

It's unmanipulated, I didn't even have to adjust the levels in PS. I thought the upper left gives your eye a place to rest, as well as a touch of DOF. Do other's find it distracting? I could certianly try and crop it out... Thanks for the feedback!

Does your camera capture in sepia or what method did you use to color it? Thanks! I really enjoyed viewing it.
