I'm guessing this would fit in Architecture. I especially like the
way the light plays with the droplets. Tell me what you think.

I especailly like the bit of air between the front tire and the asphalt. Appears as though this dude means business, either that or he missed a shift.
-
Great contrast and lighting. I especially love the way the shadow follows the walkway.

Great shot.

If my Porfolio has ever been stomped before. lol
I apprecdiate very much all the comments and feedback. Good luck with the time away from the compute. I am just too hooked on it to get away that long. Maybe, I ought to give that a try though.

In paint shop pro 7, go to colorize and the hue number is right around 26. I had intensity at about 125. The sky in this one was rather plain, that is why it turned out so white. Yes, they are all out of work, just sitting around, waiting to be photographed. There are numerous oil wells near where I live. (Central California, USA) Luckily, most of them are working and producing.

Came with Paint Shop Pro 7. The bit of black is just a reflection of something, not sure what. Just the way it worked out in the shot. Thanks for the comments.

Actually, I discovered what the problem was in this one. I had a much better looking diffusion going on before I reduced the size to fit Photonet's requirements. That and the jpeg image was reduced in size, quantity wise as well. I should have reduced the size before I went to all the work. Live and learn.
The same image (sort of) in B & W :

But the name at the bottom is quite distracting. I would have cropped out the dark bush to the right also. Good Eye.

Looks like she is chomping on the bit, waiting paitenly for the others to get ready. Good work.
-
Nice shot, but way too big. 800 x 600 pixels is Photo nets guidelines for an image to be down loaded.
-
I would have cropped the bottom out some. I like the oranges, and interesting contrast betwixt the water and the shore. Good shot.

Being a hiker I can se the trail quite clearly, but I am thinking some may have difficulty in recognizing the brown stretch at the bottome for a trail. I am sure the original is an awsome shot, but it loses something in the digital realm, at least on my monitor. I would have loved to have been there though.

Beautiful work. Some amazing eyes.

By Peter Gabriel Simply irresistable, or at least the video. Excellent work.

I had to study this for a bit, then I noticed the title and the light bulb went on. Nice shot.

Well, this was shot with a disposable camera. A soft foucus wsn't what I was after, and the original seems rather well foucused. Perhaps the scan took some of that away.
I'll have to return there sometime soon and retake this shot. Although at the time, they had some record water flowing down the river.

Good contrasts, nice lighting. I like all the different textures comparing to each other. I am curious how well this would have worked in color.

I like the way the shadows play on the water and the greens of the grassy / mossy sides. This must be an awsome place to live, if it is as cool and inviting as it seems to be in the shot. I can almost hear the water lapping at the rocks.
-
I like the extra little drama of the object in the water. I am wondering how wet your feet had to get to get this shot? Good Job.

Thank you for sharing.

Very nice work. I get the feeling this was during a break in a storm. I am thinking a case of excellent timing.
-
I like the way the shadows play with the windmill.
-
Quiet a nice touch you have. Your skill is quite evident as well. Very well done.
