  1. Pedro;

    I bought this lens about a year ago. I've been shooting for 20+ years. It's been an impressive lens. Don't really care if Tamron made it or not, as some say. It still produces some very good images. When I shoot, I usually don't take it past about 280MM. From 280-300 the resolution is not the greatest. But up until that point it's great. And I did like the price!

  2. Henry;

    If I'm not mistaken, I think the Weston Ranger 9 has an 18 degree reading on it's CDS cell coverage. Not quite a spot meter but narrower than most meters. It's a sturdy meter. Not sure what it weighs but it's heavier than the Master series. It's sensitivity as I remember is -5 to 24. Pretty good range. I was able to pick one up on EBAY a few months in new condition for about $90, with case and cone. This thing must've sat on a shelf somewhere for years with no use.

  3. Henk;

    The Weston meters are great. I'm a collector of the Master series. The Master V is a good one. I also have and use the Euromaster and a few months ago bought the Euromaster 2. The last two Euromasters are excellent. Very accurate! The Euromaster 2 was a bit expensive but it's a jewel as is the original Euromaster. Can't go wrong.

  4. Ron;

    Do the 35MM F2 AIS! It's sharpness is great at anything past F4. It's ok for nightime photos but truly shines with daytime photography.

    I've got both the F1.4 and the F2. For some reason I haven't been impressed with F1.4. They say it's great if shot at F2.8 but I'm a landscape man and usually shoot at F8 and above. Anyway, I've found that the 35MM F2 has been better. Wish that jewel had CRC though!! Will probably sell my F1.4 real soon.

  5. Dude, do the F2.8. It's magnificent at all apertures. And the best thing, there's no sample variation that I have ever heard of with the F2.8 as there is with the F 4.0. And it's ok to use a lens that takes 62MM filters instead of 52MM. It won't bite!!!
