I would really appreciate if you could help me with this peculiar

problem. I am using Rebel XT for about 6 months now and yesterday I

started having problem where some images would have weird colors and I

am wondering if I need to send the camera for repairs, or is it the

compact flash card. I have seen this problem intermittently on the

same CF card and I just tried out some shots on another card and 25

odd images are all OK ( I need to recharge the battery for more

tests). Here are two photographs taken sequentially and the second

Andrew, I recently got the canon 70-210 3.5-4.5 usm used from the fredmiranda forum and I like it a lot. It is quite sharp and it is cheap (for your records I bought if for $135). I missed out on one that was sold for $120. I am a newbie, but the 70-210 fits my bill.

Peter, your review is interesting and I did go through your blog-webpage as well. I guess your review is useful in a sense that it has a one line

summary -- this lens is not good for dust. Being an indian I do not like the part " -- Dust is pervasive in India like oxygen and perhaps should be ** their national symbol **" While most of your blog seems to reflect that you are sensitive about other cultures, this comment contadicts that. I think this comment is crass and does not contribute to the review.

I am a newbie to the SLR world and had a question about Sigma EX DG

28-70 f/2.8 constant and Canon EF 35mm f/2. Someone is trying to sell

these -- I am interested because of limited budget -- and was

wondering how compatible these lenses are with Rebel XT. Also, I

haven't really bought used lenses before -- what should one look for.

I am considering investing in a wide angle lens for my canon rebel

(film camera). I was wondering if people have strong opinions

against/for this Sigma wideangle (17-35). As you can guess my budget

is limited and I am still discovering photography after enjoying

photography with my digital camera. Also, in buying used equipment

from B+Hphotvideo how far can one go down as in 9,8,7 used category.
