I loved the image of birds flying high over the famous Alcatraz

prison. Feedback welcome.

It took me quite a while to get close enough for this shot, but it was

time well spent :) Feedback appreciated.

Very nice mood. I think I would probably pull up the shadows a tad more, but that's certainly a matter of taste.

Incredible detail! Can't be too easy to let this little critter pose quietly for the shot.

Late April in up in the mountains in Norway offers a great combination

of snow and good weather, making for pretty good photographic

opportunities.

Jennifer, there is no special magic about getting it sharp. A good lens closed down just the right amount, a fast shutter speed to stop all movement, and being sufficently stuborn to wait, try and retry until it feels right. Of course, it also helps that you are looking at a rather small version.
