I use a Billingham 550. It fits everything you mentioned plus a spare body and a Pola back etc.

Checkout Imacon, they have a digital back that they are introducing at the Photo East. It is based on the Kodak chip, and does 1,3 shot and micro step modes. They do have adapters for Rollei cameras.

I had to deal with this last week for a commercial building, and
noone had the access key for the area to remove the flag up front (it
was covering the front part of the building.) A bit of photoshop
work and it is gone!!!

I don't know about the temperature adjustment, but from personal experience I know over processing does not have an effect on exposure.

As far as the tilt, swing and DOF adjustments for the P2 and F go,
check out the Sinar Bron site at www.sinarbron.com. It is explained
in detail there.

Phase One(not H20), Jobo, Sinar, Imacon - most of the major digital back manufacturers have Rollei 6008i adapters. According to Kodak they are working with a variety of manufacturers regarding their adapters.
Also, if you are paying 20K+ for a digital back plus the cost of the computer equipment etc. the camera platform becomes an incidental expense.

Check with Lindahl, they developed a bellows shade for Rollei last year. They should have a 95mm adapter for it as well.

It sounds like a problem with the electronic contacts. I'll have to check mine and let you know regarding the cables on mine, once I get back to work (it's a holiday here in the US).
Another fast lens not mentioned is the 110 f2. However, it is not as tele as the 180.
I have not had any of the problems you had with any of my Rollei lenses. I wonder if there is a faulty batch of 180s out there?

Try Elinchrome Style S Monoblocks ($619, 600WS each). If you want to spend more money and go with packs, you could go Profoto Acute 24 (3 heads) and a monoblock or two packs and four heads. I have also been impressed by the Visatec line distributed by Hasseblad.

Yes, you can run a clip test on 120 film. All you lose is the first frame. Talk to your lab.

Rather then guessing about your exposure, have the lab run a clip test and then decide how much to pull or push.

Seeing that you are located in the UK, I'd try Robert White at (0) 120 272-3046. They have various brands available or they can order them for you.

Just about all of the systems that have removable backs have compatible digital back systems (but very expensive). Pentax 7 does not have a removable back, so no Polaroid back. Also, leaf shutters allow you to flash synch at any speed. Between the Rollei and RB67 I'd choose the Rollei based on features and system expansion (but I am biased). If hand holding is not too much of an issue, I'd check the RZ as well. There are some good deals on Rollei 6003s on e-bay right now.

Yeah, getting them all is a good idea if you have unlimited funds <g>. I would get the widest and fill in the gaps as needed, in this case start with the 40 and get the 60 later if needed (seeing that you already have the 90). One major thing to consider (which you haven't mentioned) is your application, how do these lenses fit in in the system you are building?

There is a bit of a difference in regards to perspective between 40 and 50, but not a lot. You can go to www.zeiss.de and look at their interactive lens selection to get an idea about the perspective differences.
I would not say the wide angles have inferior quality. I use both the 40 (Scheneider) and the 50 (Zeiss), sometimes you just don't have enough room to move forwards or backwards and this way I don't have to compromise. I do not use either lens for landscape, but for industrial work.

I just looked at my 50mm PQ lens (bought on ebay for $1124). There is the clear window, and on the side it says "PQ Lens" in red. Also, the picture shows a leather like texture covering at the barrel, in mine it is metal. I'd venture that yours is older non-PQ version.

I agree with the other posters regarding the suitability of the Tele-Xenar for macro work (it isn't). As far as portrait use is concerned, I agree with Thomas regarding the 180, and one thing to consider is that with the 1.4X Longar you will get 252 f4, and still have a cost close to the Tele-Xenar but with more options for portrait and macro work as well.
The excellent close-up handbook published by Rollei, does include the tables for 150 and 180 for use with extensions. It does not mention the 300 as an option to use with extension tubes (which could be an oversight <g>).
Also, for the record, 120 Macro Planar goes to 1:4.43 without extension tubes.

If you want double/multiple exposures, most cameras will let you disable the winder or switch to multiple exposure mode (Rollei <g> ).

1. I ran your test, once the selector clicked to A the indicator showed a flashing 2.8. I did not have a problem regarding the selector staying on f22.
2. Could not repeat your problem despite various tries, and I don't recall having this problem in the years I have been using the 6008i.
3. With the lens off I see the shutter speed only.
4. I did not see the amount of dust you are talking about.
I have a feeling that the problem is with your particular gear and not with the combination in general. Do you have the same problem with other lenses?
I'd send the stuff back to Robert White and let them sort it out.

All warranty repairs at Marflex is paid by Rollei USA per agreement with Rollei Ghmb (I talked to president of Rollei USA about this). There is not a mechanism for Marflex to bill Germany for warranty repairs. So, in a sense you ARE asking Rollei USA to foot the bill for warranty work on a product they haven't sold.
This is not unique to Rollei. Linhof, Mamiya, Nikon etc. have similar warranty policies.

Continuing with the list:
Zeiss 110, Schneider 180 do NOT have the window.
Schneider 40 and Zeiss 50 DO have the window.
Zeiss 120 does not, but it is PQS anyway.
