Hello. I need to help a client set up a reliable system to photograph various garments.
We need to keep a tight budget and are starting from scratch. I will probably get the canon rebel xti for
the camera.
Lighting is another question. Could we uses home depot lights effectively or are we going to have to go
the strobe route? If strobes what modifiers?
We have bust manequins and I will be adding seamless, tripod, white balance card, etc to the shopping
list.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello. I have an image that a local symphony hall is interested in using for a postcard.
What rights and usage should I agree upon and how should the fee I charge reflect?
Any advice appreciated

Epson developers just stink. Really. How hard is it? It has been years since the 2200 has
been out and they still can't get it right.
Make a decent driver. It is not that hard.

Anyone concerned about limiting their photographic editions has probably not really
considered the the real reasons behind their motivations. Mainly greed. However, the artist
rarely reaps the benefits of greed. Check the article out at http://bermangraphics.com/
artshows/whatsizetheedition.htm and really think about the whole idea.

Ah, the old question. PC people will try to defend this till they die. That's the problem, they
die. Macs, like any other computer will have problems, but significantly less. OSX is rippen
fast and very stable. And guess what, you won't get a virus. A PC maybe less expensive,
but how good is cheap when you can't use your machine or you lose all your data.
The lcd is very good. I have one and love it. However, I haven't found quality directions on
how to properly calibrate a powerbook lcd with photocal or optical. It is really frustrating
me.
By the way, a mac will save you time and frustration, so you will have time to learn how to
design for the web, which OSX rocks. Might I reccomend the book "Web Standards
Solution" by Dan Cedarholm from http://www.simplebits.com .

Hello. I've been searching for a sling style bag to carry my 10D, battery grip, a
lens or two and a flash. I would also like to carry a small notebook. The only
one I have found so far is the tamrac velocity 7 or 9. Most likely the 9, but it
doesn't seem like it can fit some small notebooks. Anyone see anything else
out there.
