  1. <<<PC-Mir-38 by Photo Arsenal, Germany>>>

    <p>

    The problem is that this is conventional Mir-38 3.5/65mm lens which have been rebuild as shift lens. Kiev Arsenal (I mean real Kiev plant) NEVER made this lens or even prototypes.

  2. <<<Would not just purchasing the Kiev extension tubes be easier and cheaper? They sell used for $79.00 and new for no more that $170.00 (Both size combined).>>>

    <p>

    We have sell new sets for $35 (20+40mm set for Kiev-60 or 19+48mm set for Kiev-88).

  3. Dear Sir, "C", "m", "Cm" etc. are not standard labels. Each firm has its own system of cameras marking. Our labels mean next: Kiev-88 -- basic model with Kiev-88 "B" bayonet, metal shutters and metal unflocked interior; || Kiev-88m -- basic model with Kiev-88 "B" bayonet, plus flocked interior and black cloth shutters; || Kiev-88C -- with Pentacon Six "C" bayonet, metal shutters and metal unflocked interior (has moved shutter release button); || Kiev-88Cm -- with Pentacon Six "C" bayonet, plus locked interior and black cloth shutters (has moved shutter release button); || MC Kiev -- any model of Kiev cameras with multicoated focusing screen (for example MC Kiev-88m or MC Kiev-88Cm MLU); || MLU "x" -- any model of Kiev cameras with Mirror Lock-Up mechanism (for example Kiev-88Cm MLU2 or Kiev-60 MLU1); "x" means version of Mirror Lock-Up system - we now has MLU1, MLU2 and MLU3 versions: MLU1 -- first part of pushing shutter release button -> mirror release; second part of pushing shutter release button -> shutter release; / MLU2 -- first part of pushing shutter release button -> mirror release with next possibility of mirror control (turn on, turn off, turn on and fix; body has additional lever for mirror control); second part of pushing shutter release button -> shutter release; / MLU3 -- with possibility of fully independent mirror, shutter and film speed control; || H -- any model of Kiev cameras with hand crank (all cameras with MLU system have hand crank already installed and included in their basic price); || Black -- any model of Kiev cameras in solid black; || etc.

  4. Cambron ProSix camera has Pentacon Six bayonet. Kiev-88 has his own mount (marked as bayonet "B" on original Arsenal equipment). That's why you can not use lenses for ProSix on the standard Kiev-88. May be Cambron could replace mount for using 55mm shift with Kiev-88, I don't know.

    Kiev Arsenal produce now following lenses (both with Kiev-88 mount and Pentacon Six mount):

    - Zodiak-8 - 3.5/30 "fish eye" (Kiev-88, P-Six) / $200,-

    - Mir-26 - 3.5/45 (Kiev-88, P-Six) / $250,-

    - Mir-38 - 3.5/65 (Kiev-88, P-Six) / $145,-

    - MC Arsat 2.8/80 / MC Volna-3 (Kiev-88, P-Six) / $50,-

    - MC Vega-28 - 2,8/120 (Kiev-88, P-Six) / $200,-

    - Kaleinar-3 - 2.8/150 (Kiev-88, P-Six) / $310,-

    - MC Telear-5 - 5.6/250 (Kiev-88, P-Six) / $180,-

    - Jupiter-36 - 3.5/250 (Kiev-88, P-Six) / $250,- (probably will not produce from November-December'97)

    - Arsat Makro - 5.6/500 (Kiev-88, P-Six) / $990,-

    - MC K-6 teleconverter 2x (Kiev-88, P-Six) / $60,-

    *MC - multicoated

    As I wrote Cambron ProSix camera has Pentacon Six bayonet so can use lenses not only from Kiev Arsenal.

    Kiev Arsenal made a few 55mm shift lenses about 8 years ago. That was experimental lot and these lenses has not been produce any more (you see, Soviet Union desintegration, economic weakening etc.; the same story with Kiev-90, Kiev-645 MF-cameras).
