  1. Catching the bird in mid-air was defenetly something that is hard to do. You caused an excellent sillouete. Whenever a subject has direct backlighting it will tend to sillouete. Keep experimenting with lighting and scenarios. You will find that an eager eye will bring much.

I know there must be digital artifacts because of the camera, but

what do you think of the composition? I exposed 2 stops down so i

could get more saturation and rated the sky so there could be a

    silloutte.

  2. there is no such thing as empty space in photography. My only complaint is that she is ridgid and her left arm is just hanging there. try more of an s curve with the arm. it may help add some more feminine flair to it, instead of just being there.
  3. a very good sillouete. I don't know if i like the camera tilt or not but it does add for a good affect. What is the megapixel rating of your digital? very nice grain. since you are a veteran photographer, please PLEASE feel free to critique any of my photos at anytime. I am struggling to become a professional.
  4. photoshop manipulation? This photo is confusing. the eyes are drawn to the negatived leaves due to the leading line of the trunk of the tree but with the combination of blurred leaves it distracts the eye.
