Does anybody know what are the Operating Situations on a Canon 300D

and a Canon 10D ? Since the build is so different .. How will this

effect 300D if it is cold or heat conditions ?

I know there are custom functions present on canon 10D and people use it .. my question was how these custom fuctions will affect the picture on 1 - 10 scale ?

I have never used canon 10D or canon 300D. My Questions is

-- How will be the missing custom function settings in 300D affect

the photographer or the picture ? and how often these custom

functions are used ?

I will recommend Sony F717 Digital Camera out of Nikon 5700 and Minolta. The Image Quality and Auto Assist is Great in Sony and also go to dpreview.com where they compare this camera to other cameras. Look at the color saturation and also the sample Image galleries. I have this camera and I am very Impressed. Minolta has more Image Noise followed by Nikon Last comes the Sony at higher -> ISOs. Also Sony has Carl Zeiss Branded Lens which is a Plus, All these cameras have the similar CCB Image Sensor size.

I bought Nikon D100 and I am using it with 28-105mm Nikon AF-D Lens.

The images which I got from this combination makes me cry (even in

daylight) I take the same picture with my Sony P9 (point & shoot

digital) where the image quality is Excellent. I do not want to

compromise image quality and sharpness and also i do not want to use

Adobe Photoshop to alter my Images .. I want everything to be done

with my Camera .. I appreciate if you can Suggest me Excellent

I am planning to buy a Digital Camera .. Which one of these 2

cameras will be a good option Nikon D100 & Canon EOS 10D? I am

planning to do lot of Macro Photography + Nature & People. What kind

of Lens should I consider if I am going for a Nikon D100 ? I already

own a

Nikon N80 with

1)28-105 AF-D Lens,

2)One 60mm Micro Nikon AF-D Lens,

3)One 50mm Fixed Lens.

 

Any Recommendations are greatly appreciated and Welcome.

I bought Nikon 28-105 AF-D Lens and I love this Lens .. You have to spend above $300.00 for this lens and its well worth it.

Thanks a lot for the recommendations & the responses. My budget for Lens is about $600~700. I was planning to buy 2 lenses. In Nature I want to take close up Pictures, For which I was not sure which lens was a good option. Also, apart from what I have (nikon 28-105 f/3.5~4.5 AF-D), I was thinking to buy 70~300 Nikon D Lens and one 60mm/2.8 Nikon Micro Lens. I wanted to know that if i am making a correct desicion. I am a Beginner, I bought a Nikon N80 with Nikon 28~105 mm f3.5~f22D

Lens. I have couple of Questions ..

 

1. How do I setup Aperture on this Lens on Nikon N80? When I try to

setup left dial on manual and set aperture, The LCD screen

shows 'FEE--' on the display and it doesnot work till i reset this

back.

 

2. What is the depth of field Button ? And when & why it is used ?

3. What is the Macro button on the Lens ?
