  1. An OMG Wow, btw is significantly higher than merely a 'wow'. So that is your 'daughter, the ham?' Would that mine should pose so nicely! The look you captured in her eyes is definately one-of-a-kind, and eerily beautiful all at the same time. Kudos on a photograph well taken.

I've seen that bridge a million and one times before. And from having lived there, I also know that it is a rare for it to look like that. This is an amazing and rare glimpse of a bridge so beloved. Love the color, I think it makes the composition work in this picture. You've made me homesick with this one!!! Thanks.

still working on technique for painting with light... what can I do

additionally (not in photoshop) to enhance the painted look? Thanks

    in advance!

This picture as a travel brochure pic would make millions for irish tourism... everyone would Have to go there! Maybe a slightly smaller crop though... like just above the line of green pine trees? the colors below that line are so vibrant and those above are much less so, they seem almost as if they are two separate photograps already...
  2. this is something that definately caught my eye! I love this shot! I think it captures the emption of the moment, it tells a story and it seems very marketable. Not to mention it is also perfectly exposed and I liek the composition too! ok... so I'm gushing... but I think it's worth it. thanks for sharing!
  3. It definately cought my eye among the other wedding shots. I love the overall sepia-like coloring, gives a very timeless classic feel. This was your first wedding? Kepp up the good work!

I LIKED the reflection of the women in the window. Mother and sister? Bridesmaids? It doesn't really matter, I think they are symbolic of the bride's transformation into a "new" woman, occupying a new domicile-- however you care to look at it, but her "new life" is in the limo, and her "old one" will be heading home to their old routines after the limo departs.

Anyhow, love the shot, it's a difficult one to get good lighting on and you've done that well, and the expressions are fantastic. Nicely done

That is amazing color! Did you use any special lenses or filters or PS for that? What a surreal moment. I think the cows even look like they are enjoying their 15 minutes of fame!

This was part of that same Bridal shoot... I really should find out

how you all feel about the "traditional" poses I photographed, but I

keep finding myself compelled to see what you have to think about

the slightly abnormal ones.... The bride to be has rally incredible

intense eyes and I snuk in this extreme close-up. I don't expect it

will be one I'll try on every future bride I photograph, but should

I have done anything differently on this one?

Just like Ann, I love this shot! Was this a timed exposure? Amazing color in the town for how pitch the sky appears. Fantastic, thanks for sharing.

This was an impromtu shot during the Bridal Portrait session. Both

Mother and Bride were very careful of not snagging or dirtying the

dress (the wedding is still three weeks away) so as both were

lifting the dress to move to a higher spot on the stairs, I snapped

this shot. It all happened so quickly, I had no idea if it would

turn out at all, but I am quite pleased with the results. What do

    you think?

wow. I didn't see any 'naughty bits' but I surely didn't see any hips either! if that was me in that image, there'd be no question of non-masculinity! but then, i suppose that mught just be why you chose her... ok on to even less important observations... is one arm of the cross shorter than the other? the right side (as you are looking at it) seems shorter to me? or am I just losing my mind? Other than that.. i think the photograph looks almost like a photograph of jewelry, rather than of a person... kind of like a catalog photo of a crucifix pendant... I dunno. Probably just me...

Hmm... I think I spot a highlight or two in that auburn mane...

ok just kidding. Honestly, I love the pose and the lighting.. her expression works really well here too... just not quite sure how I feel about the placement (cropping??) of the chair...

    Love it otherwise!

I'm sorry, but I tend to disagree... I like the street showing... says more that way... plus, I tried a couple of different closer crops, and they just didn't seen to work right with that vertical line of the lamp post and all...
