There are a lot of strays around my house, this is just one of them. I gave

him the name Fred.

Taken at my schools spring undokai.

Just trying to get out there and take pictures again.

A friend of mine asked me to shoot her wedding. Its something i have

done only 1 time before and that one time was just the after party,

so i was pretty nervous.

The second i saw this photo, before reading anything, i thought Rembrandt.

 

The colors, the space, the figure, very Rembrandt.

Comments welcome. I'm not quite sure about this one so any help would

be great.

The depth of the image is really disorienting, but it compliments the subject matter well.

nice comparison shot. The fence-like thing in the front makes the picture.

I'm new to color, but i couldn't bring myself to deal with this

subject matter in black and white.

Based on this dream i had where I was washing a cd to erase the data

because I was in some sort of trouble.

After some editing the image finally looks the way i want it to.

n/m i got myself confused. Subject matter and composition are similar, imo. The apprehensiveness\nervousness is a critical aspect of "David" and this picture. The threat of an unknown foe (from a composition standpoint) is another aspect they have in common.

The inspiration for this photo was Michaelangelos "David". I tried to

create an inner and outer tension ala "David" and keep the theme

current and relevant. While it doesn't look a thing like "David" i

feel like they share alot in common.

Okay, maybe im the only one, but this picture seems a little perverted.

A little bit of geek humor.

An interesting idea, id like to see more.

I find this image's concept rather interesting. The idea of animated or tv reality in a situation that seems almost like a cliched photo "window lit portrait". However, im not so sure about what was chosen to be on the tv. Perhaps you werent thinking about that at all, but if you were, id say this idea deserves a little more investigation.
