I can´t fire my norman 400b Flash with the chinese made radio triggers. I have the PT-04 Model (Slave) RF-04 (Transmitter) - these are also referred to as Cactus radio triggers. I´ve already tried changing the polarity of the trigger wire.
The Pt-04 works fine with all sorts of other flashes (nikon speedlights, Hensel Contra 500, Vivitar,...).
Apparently the pocket wizards work fine but they are expensive.
Anybody know of modifications for the PT-04 that will make it fire the Norman 400b?
There are a few programms in the net that seem to be freeware.
But attention! I spent quite some time scanning a 4GB CF-Card that I had formatted by accicent. Both EASEUS and CardRecovery found the files (takes about 25min) - but the when you want to save the files to disc the both of these programms (that were ment to be free) promt you to purchase the full license! They are useless - time lost and
very annoying..
then I found ZAR (Zero Assumption Recovery) it?s the only programm thats really for free - and works superb..

thanks phil,
i tested the norman with a pair of pocket wizards and that worked fine.
i guess the problem might be the trigger voltage of the Pt-04. Did anybody succeed in firing a Norman 400B with thes devices?
cheers j.
