I don't usually like concert pictures, but you have captured a great moment flawlessly. I love the hair flying out and the exposure which shows just a few details of the guitarist. I especially like the smoky, blank left side of the frame compared to the detail of the drums on the right. The fact that this guy's body is on the diagonal only adds to the energy of this picture. Well done.

Thanks for any input. This was shot using a 2 MP digital camera
(canon A40).

It's a little lopsided.

This is on of the first pictures I scanned using my new minolta film
scanner, so any input is welcome.
Thanks,
Josh

I understand you couldn't really change things much, but if you had a longer lense you could get the sheep to be more noticeable (a little lower in the frame would be my preference,as well) without sacrificing the mountains behind. The lower part of the frame is a bit wasted.

I don't think I'll get close to what this picture makes me feel. It makes me want to cry. Thank you.

very striking composition. Nicely done.

Stunning. I hope it's not beginner's luck.

Too much space on the right.

IS the blue real or did you add it somehow. I think it makes the picture

I actually thought it was a sapling. I like the selective focus with the foreground blurred. I am not sure about the black shadow on the right. I think it should either not be there either by cropping now or be positioning yourself differently when taking the picture, or have more of it.

I think some more space above the plane would add to the balance. I like the way the ground is, though. What are those shafts of light anyway?

gorgeous

wow, nice blues. I think the purple flowers in front could be sharper
-
nice, maybe it would be stronger if you cropped out some of the right side.

This is one of the first photos I took after a beginners course. I
did the darkroom work, too, so advice there would be good as well.

This is a beautiful picture both in terms of composition and quality of the black and white tones. You capture the shadows, mist and light very nicely. I think the upper right corner might be slightly too bright, but I don't know what you could have done about that. The two people give the picture good balnce although, and I know I'm nitpicking, I would have liked the person on the right a little further from the edge (not at the third of the frame though). In all beautiful.
