While touring the great ruins of Sukhothai historical park, we came across a group of young novices who were quite friendly and inquisitive. While my friend was hosting an informal Q&A at the request of their English teacher, I took a few shots. This was one of my favorites.
Comments greatly appreciated.

Was on a hill overlooking the Kastro on Astipalea when the sun was setting between clouds and a mountain, producing the wedge of light that hit the Chora.

Thanks Len,I don't travel much anymore with the RZ, but at the time, I carried it in a camera case that I outfitted with over-the-shoulder cross straps. Worked good, but yes, quite a load.Yes, there are a number of close-up shots that I should have taken, but didn't for whatever reason. At the time, I wasn't doing much in the way of architectural detail, so it probably didn't dawn on me. But, I see what you're saying. Thanks for taking the time to add your thoughts, I appreciate the feedback.

Thanks for the comments, Harry. You're right, it probably hasn't changed much (except for that condo building going up :) Regards, Bruce

My next wider lens was 90 mm and I was backed all the way up against another building across the square. There were tons of people milling about, including a drunk who talked my ear off the entire time (I explained, nicely, that I didn't speak the language, but that didn't deter him). I extended my rise as far as I could take it, both on the rear standard and on the center column of the tripod. There are people walking 2 feet in front of the camera that I had to get around.
As for reciprocity, I have not done any extensive tests on this film. I do color balance my scans so I can't honestly say that the film does not have issues. I also took a number of slide shots with this set-up, but this is the one that came out best. I use slide film up to the point where there is negligible light in the sky, then turn to negative film. As for the time, I carry a cheat-sheet that I use and it has a lot of extra time for reciprocity. And, of course, lots of bracketing. I'm sure I have 2 or 3 other versions with this film. :) But yes, it does hold up well and I'm very pleased with it in general.
The crop is bad. In retrospect, I should have used the 90 mm, and cropped after the fact.
Thanks for the nice comments on the website. I appreciate your feedback!

While traveling back from Petra, found this bend in the pathway with
the sun reflecting off the dust in the air. The people and carriage
help show the immensity of the canyon walls.
Feedback appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Waited a few mornings for calm air and no boat traffic. Used a
graduated ND filter to bring out the reflections. Comments
