  1. Elan II/IIE shows 2 stops either direction in 1/2 stop increments. A2/A2E shows 2 stops (in 1/2's) in all modes EXCEPT manual which is zero method or match needle. I would imagine fully scaled Rebels are the same as Elans. The EOS 3 shows 3 stops in 1/3 incr., with a CF to show 1/2 incr. Hope this helps.
  2. Canon TC's are designed to slow the autofocus speed when used with a lens. I have noticed with my EOS 3 that AF is not slowed down.(an impression, not measured) Off brand TC's do not have the software and therefore do not seem to slow AF (again not measured).
  3. I have found the Photoflex MSB 2 to be extremely comfortable with 15-18 lbs in it. It is basically a shoulder bag with large waistbelt, easy to work out of, and I can carry it all day. The waistbelt puts most of the weight on your hips. I have also put a three compartment Domke insert into a Mountainsmith Day Pack and have been able to carry 1 body with an attached lens and 2 additional lenses along with 10-20 rolls of film, filters, small accessories and a water bottle. Works great for urban photography and carries all day.
