Lovely. What a sense of place, what a moment.

Thanks for your thoughts about this.

Tell me what you think.

I don't get many like this. What do you think?

I would love to her what you think when you see this photo.

What a fresh and unusual picture this is! Your sensibility is unique, and this is perfectly realized. I love this picture. It is haunting, and tender, and very strong all at the same time. Bravo!

This is one of the most exciting photos I have seen on Photonet is two years of looking. It is natural, it is different, it is beautifully realized. My hat is off to you, James Collopy, I love this one.

On my ordinary Dell monitor, 1-2 is as it should be. With a little tuning in the Contrast, I corrected the IJK merger and got a barely visible J-K difference. The A in the midtone is just visible. In the image, I see no detail in the shadowed triangle at lower right. I cannot see an edge where, at the center, the horizontal handrail intersects the fat vertical pipe. My settings: Brightness 90%, contrast 85%.

What life! Is she a drama or voice coach with the opera? Brian Berry

Marcus, this is lovely. Shame on those who think this is exploitation. The feeling conveyed, the care and the affection that shine through, above all the natural-ness, all tell the story. Carry on. Brian Berry

This comment is for your whole portfolio...your work is full of life, technically exciting but NOT too perfect, there is air and motion and above all, good humor here, and that is the hardest thing in photography to find. Carry on! Hope to meet you someday! Brian Berry

Haunting. Really compelling.
