That's one bright beacon on that lighthouse. :-)

I agree entirely with the previous remark about the crop. It also sppears that the horizon is slightly tipped, and I'd like to see a somewhat larger version posted in order to be able to examine the details more closely (plus I think it would be more enjoyable viewing).
These are, however, relatively minor problems and easily corrected. I don't wish to sound too critical, because I do find it to be quite well done.

Nice warm colors and good composition. You can't ask for much more from a sunset shot.

Interesting shot, but I think a slight crop might help. I hope you don't mind - I thought it would be easier to demonstrate than describe. Something like this to bring the ball off center vertically and let the shadow fall into the corner.

Good color, composition, and light. Nicely done.

Although I tend to agree with the sense that there is too much PS work, I can't dispute the conclusion of John Peri - I also spent a long time looking at this photo.

This is very nice - nice composition and very pleasing colors. Certainly a refreshing change from the usual treatment of Fuji.

Opinions, please.

I wish the colours were more vibrant...
To me, the colors are almost oversaturated as they are. Most of nature isn't especially vibrant, so to me this seems just about right.
Nice effort overall.

I definitely like it, but you might want to try for a better scan - I'm seeing some jpeg artifacts or something in there that's making the sand look somewhat blotchy. This could also just be the typically awful photo.net compression.

Nicely done. Having failed at many attempts to birds in the frame and focused at this kind of distance, I can appreciate the shot.

The dark area doesn't bother me at all, but I might have chosen a viewpoint where the branches and the plateau didn't overlap. Of course, I have no way of knowing what was there, but I'd like to see one for comparison if you shot it that way as well. This POV might also be good, but the lower branch almost disappears against the shadowed area of the cliff behind it.
On balance, I still like it, but I do have a bit of a weakness for bare trees.

That dark gray area.
This appears to be a tan line. IMO, it might be better to adjust the skin tones in that area to remove the tan line for this shot.
I'm not generally a big fan of effects, but I think this one might work well for this shot, but you seem to have stopped short in this case. I think a slightly stronger application of whatever was used might work better. Still a decent shot however, my favorite among the four currently in the folder.

Opinions please. Thanks.

Yet another old chrome dragged out of storage.

Interesting comments on this photo. It appears to me that the answer to the question is that she doesn't care about the sky. I don't know if I've missed something or if the other reviewers have missed something, or if it just isn't enough for them. To me, it's a decent shot.

I agree with the remarks about the frame - IMO it's too much.
I'm not sure what's going on with the background behind the girl.
I'm afraid I don't even understand the issue with the unlevel ground and especially the girls legs - people's legs do curve at the knee, folks. If you've ever swung a kid around like this, they almost invariably bend their legs.
On balance, an excellent shot.

:-) I was rather wet after shooting a little less than one roll from this spot, but managed through luck and quick reflexes to keep the camera dry. They soaked me pretty thoroughly on this particular run.

If this were a portrait, I'd say yes, it's too detached, but as a portfolio shot, maybe not.
The crop at the top is bothering me a little, however. I'd want to either crop it more, or not crop the top of the head at all. Cropped this way it looks somewhat like a mistake.

I don't know if I'd say the selective coloring of the eyes is a distraction, but I do agree that I don't think it's necessary.
It's a great shot with or without the coloring.

Great color. I like the composition. You've centered horizontally to capture the reflections, but divided on thirds vertically to add interest. Sharpness seems a bit soft, but very nice shot overall.
