This is an important thread for those who feel that ratings can help them focus on photographic areas that need improvement or help monitor incremental improvement in techniques such as light and composition.Being human and vain it is rather hard to overlook a rating from one evaluator which is received on two different photographs that is at odds with 8-10 other raters.Is their anyway to make Brian or others aware that malevolence[whatever the reason may be at play and is not coincidental or just opinion]?It seems that to write to this person or appeal to commonsense fairness gives the acknowledgement that this person wants or craves.Alan Klaw -Photonet member. 12/22/04
