thanks jon, and thats a great picyure and 10 ou of 10 for the concept of the picture!!! jon im gettin the concept of highkey but can you do something with the lowkey(with another great picture!!)?
-
Hi jon, so you mean to say that the exposure of a particular pic make it high or low rather than the lighting? What i am really want to find is the rules of high/low key rather than vague suggestions, if any!!

hi steve, fisrt its not my shot, its done by some great pg!! I want to learn about lighting and when u said lowkey means mid grey to black, all the low key pics got some kind of highlight area and background which is white like the one i posted above. So how can we call it a lowkey? or is it only a thin line which divides high and lowkey pictures?(i like your picture at your site;-)

What are the characteristics to identify highkey and lowkey lighting?
why is it called so?
I looked at other threads but i couldnt find a theoretic answer which
i could use as a yard stick to differntiate between highkey and
lowkey pictures!

Do you think that images from movies should be (or could be) hung on the wall of a museum or gallery as art?" If the answer is yes then you do the same with v-game!!

'Many digital shooters are advocates of slightly underexposing digital when shooting RAW files so the highlights are preserved. '
Hi marc,
Few momths back there was an article in luminous landscape website titled 'Expose (to the) Right' regarding over exposure of digital cams. I think this gives some light into the topic stated above.(If you have already read the article please ignore this!!)

Hi Dhiren,
The pictures look great (Professional!). Being an architect i liked the presence of people in it cos it gives the the whole space a scale and feel of activity. Defenitly there is allways the scope of improvement but you CAN sell your pictures!!!
